Gulfport Main Street Association hosting #FishFacedFriday selfie contest
The Gulfport Main Street Association is challenging all residents to a selfie contest.
It’s called ‘Fish Faced Friday.’ Show off your best fish face with a selfie at the new Mississippi Aquarium, Robert Waldrop Artwork, or other murals on the corner of 14th Street and 27th Avenue in downtown Gulfport.
Those who participate will get a chance to win a $30 certificate from Tony’s Brick Oven Pizzeria and Mississippi Aquarium t-shirt and poster.
LaShaundra McCarty with the City of Gulfport says this is a great way to have a good, safe time in the downtown area. “We’re not living in normal times, but that doesn’t mean that everything we ingest has to be something that’s sad and depressing. We still live in a very beautiful community and there are artists that are still putting up beautiful works of art across the community that people can come out and actually see. You don’t have to gather, but it’s still there for us to see.”
Contest guidelines include only one person per photo and you must submit photos via email to Ltoups@gulfport-ms.gov or text 228-236-6724.
