Gulfport Leisure Services hosting ‘Daddy Daughter Bike Ride’
Attention dads and daughters! Grab your helmets and hop on two wheels, it’s time for a bike ride.
Gulfport Leisure Services is hosting a free Daddy Daughter Bike Ride this Saturday, May 8th at Jones Park. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Barksdale Pavilion. The bike ride begins at 10 a.m.
Gulfport Public Information Officer LaShaundra McCarty says this event is all about the special relationship between fathers and daughters. “Those are memories. There is nothing better than being able to look back and say remember when we did this together? It’s an opportunity for dads to build some memories with their daughters. Hopefully they will bring their little girls out, go get ice cream or a cupcake after and look back years down the line and say remember when we went out to the park and rode those bikes together.”
Riders must be five-years-old or older.
