Gulfport judge appointed to Mississippi Supreme Court

Governor Phil Bryant appoints a Gulfport judge to the Mississippi Supreme Court today.
Judge David M. Ishee’s appointment is effective September 18th. In 1999, he was appointed municipal court judge for the City of Gulfport. He will replace Supreme Court Justice Jess H. Dickerson.
Governor Phil Bryant said, “Judge Ishee’s extensive experience in presiding over cases for more than two decades in Mississippi will serve him well on our state’s highest court.”
