Gulfport High students present project to panel in NY
The group of Gulfport High School students on a mission to provide a vending machine for homeless students in the school district are now presenting their project to a panel of judges in New York.
It’s all part of Samsung’s $2 million Solve for Tomorrow nationwide contest. The local group of students is one of ten national groups who had three minutes to present their project before seven minutes of questioning from the judges today.
Tomorrow, three winners will be selected to receive a technology grant of $150,000 for their school and $20,000 for the charity of their choice.
