Gulfport High School Students Suspended for Carrying Pills

Three Gulfport High School students are suspended for carrying pills on campus after a social media video surfaces.
According to Gulfport School District spokeswoman M.C. Price-Barton, one student notified teachers that a classmate had a form of Xanax pills on campus. The school did an immediate search but did not find any on the student. The following day, a mother brought social media footage to school administrators showing the three students with the pills. Price-Barton says once called into the office, one student admitted to having the pills. Two other students were also seen in the video.
All three are suspended until the administration decides their consequences, which could be alternative school or expulsion.
