Gulfport Girls Basketball’s Simaru Fields nominated for McDonald’s All-American Game
Gulfport basketball star Simaru Fields finding herself in elite company this morning as one of five girls from the Magnolia State nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Game.
Overall, more than 760 boys and girls nominated for the 45th annual showcase and it’s hard to think of many players more deserving than Fields who’s leading her Lady Admirals in scoring with 17.4 points per game as well as assists and steals.
Later this month, 24 boys and 24 girls will be selected to tip things off in Chicago on March 29th.
