Gulfport Galleria of Fine Arts Gala
The Historical Society of Gulfport co-hosted the Gulfport Galleria of Fine Arts Gala this evening.
Wonderful pieces from local artists were displayed in the facility. There was great food and live entertainment to enjoy while checking out the beautiful artwork. This is the 11th year of this great cultural event.
Having the gala in downtown Gulfport raises awareness about an event that not many locals know about. Gulfport Main Street Director Laurie Toups said, “Cultural assets for the downtown area are what help us grow. It’s what adds economic development to our cultural assets.”
The Historical Society of Gulfport, along with the other organizations in the city, tells News 25 to expect even bigger and better events to take place downtown in the near future.
