Gulfport Closer to new Casino

The City of Gulfport is one step closer to opening another casino.
The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved a location request proposed by the Gulfport Gaming Development. The approval certifies the land near Jones Park as a legal gaming site.
Developers will now continue plans to design and open a casino near the intersection of Highway 49 and Highway 90.
