Gulfport City Council passes promenade project agreement

Gulfport City Council members met to discuss multiple issues yesterday, including the adoption of an agreement for the city’s promenade project.

The Interlocal Cooperation Agreement passed unanimously. The agreement is so that the city agencies perform governmental activities and deliver public services.

Also on the agenda, the council approved a new pricing structure for this year’s Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival.

These changes are to encourage citizens to go on the weekdays to cut down on traffic on weekends and give festivalgoers the opportunity to experience more of the festival.
