A midair collision between an Army helicopter and an American Airlines flight from Kansas killed all 67 people aboard the two aircraft.
In a statement, Gulfport Biloxi International Airport said, “The GPT family is heartbroken by last night’s tragic accident near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Our thoughts and prayers are with the passengers, crew, military, first responders, loved ones and all affected.
