Gulfport Biloxi International Airport recovering after FAA outage

Biloxi-Gulfport International Airport is running smoothly again after the FAA outage this morning.

Early this morning, FAA’s notice to air mission alerts failed. This has since resulted in more than 7,000 domestic and international flights being delayed or canceled.

Flights between 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. were grounded. Biloxi-Gulfport International Airport experienced some delays and cancelations early in the morning, but are mostly back on schedule.

As other airports get their systems working, travelers may experience delayed arrivals into the Gulfport airport.

Anyone leaving from Gulfport may experience delays with their connecting flights.

Be sure to check with your carrier if you’re flying.
