Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport offering a new infant nursing room
It’s one of the busiest times of the year for airports. The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport is no exception as they’re seeing sold out flights.
To help ease travel for families, they’re now offering an infant nursing room. The room provides a private and quiet space for mothers with comfortable seating, outlets, counter space, sink, and a flight monitor.
Director of Marketing Chaille Munn said, “This is an amenity that we’re excited to offer. Speaking from experience, traveling with an infant certainly is not easy and has its challenges. So, we’re happy to alleviate some of those challenges for new mothers.”
The number of passengers is almost double what it was this time last year. The numbers still aren’t where they were in 2019, but the airport is seeing their highest numbers since March of 2020.
