Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport announces new flights to Orlando

With the holidays right around the corner, you may be planning for your next vacation. Well, Gulfport Biloxi International Airport’s newest announcement may be your next vacation stop.

It’s an exciting day at Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport as a new nonstop route was announced that will connect South Mississippi with a magical place.

GPT is now offering nonstop flights to and from Orlando.

This announcement was made with Breeze Airways which offers 225 year-round and seasonal nonstop routes between 66 cities in 30 states.

Breeze Airways initially came to GPT in January of this year when they introduced flights to both Las Vegas and Tampa.

This announcement signals continued growth of GPT and Gulfport as a whole.

Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport Executive Director Clay Williams said, “We are pleased to announce today that Orlando International Airport is going to be served nonstop by Breeze Airways providing an easy, convenient, and affordable option to South Mississippi to experience the many amenities in Orlando and Central Florida.”

Gulfport Mayor Billy Hewes said, “We’ve got such a great board and great administration at this airport that they keep on adding different amenities and routes to make travel easier and more affordable, but that fact that we have so many routes with national carriers continues to speak well for our market.”

Flights to Orlando will begin on February 6th, 2025 offering flights on Thursdays and Sundays with one-way flights starting at $49.
