Gulfport Behavioral Health System hosts Military, Veterans, and First responders unit Open House

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Gulfport Behavioral Health System hosted their military, veterans, and first responders unit open house Thursday morning.

The Gulfport Behavioral Health Services Patriot Support programs provide treatment for active-duty military, veterans, and their families.

Programs and services here are specifically designed to address the effects of behavior health issues.

As treatment programs are expanding within the community, Universal Health Services and Gulfport Behavioral Health are battling issues such as combat stress, post-traumatic stress, depression, substance use disorder, and others to better support active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders in our community.
