Gulfport armed robbery suspect caught

Gulfport police say they arrested a man responsible for several armed robberies across the city including the one at a gas station this morning.
According to Sgt. Joshua Bromen, 46-year-old Johnny Ray Taylor of Gulfport is charged with four counts of armed robbery. Detectives responded to a call at the Citgo Gas Station on Pass Road shortly after 10 a.m.
Bromen says in this robbery and in the other three, Taylor showed a gun, demanded money and cigarettes, and then fled on foot.
He allegedly robbed three gas stations and one business at gun point on May 29th, June 1st, June 4th, and today.
