Gulf Resort Classic Volunteer Party

Each year, hundreds and hundreds of volunteers are needed to help run the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic golf tournament.
The Great Southern Club held an appreciation party for all of the volunteers today to reward them for all their hard work. Volunteers enjoyed a bbq buffet, drinks and tunes from jazz and blues live band. The party also included a putting and chipping contest, as well as a drawing for the World Golf Hall of Fame trip.
Volunteers for the classic come from all over the South. Attendees traveled from Alabama, Louisiana and even Texas.
