Gulf Islands National Seashore announces closures due to storm

The Gulf Islands National Seashore has closed public areas as a precaution due to Isaias.

All barrier islands are now closed to recreation activities.

Meanwhile, the Davis Bayou Area in Ocean Springs closed Thursday at 4. Use of the Davis Bayou Campground is also suspended for incoming check-ins.
