Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence looking for volunteer ambassadors

GULF COAST, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence is asking for volunteers ambassadors.

The responsibility for an ambassador includes:

• Raising awareness about domestic violence
• Connecting victims and survivors with resources
• Strengthening community ties
• Receive training and tools to educate others

Training for the ambassador class is expected to take place every Thursday from 6 to 8 in July.
