Gulf Coast Caregivers Conference Alzheimer’s Mississippi

Alzheimer’s is a disease that can rob anyone of their memory and other important mental functions.
To keep caregivers and social workers up to date on advances when it comes to treating and caring for those with the disease, Alzheimers Mississippi is hosting a conference right here on the coast.
Next Thursday, the organization will host their annual caregiver’s conference at knight non-profit center in Gulfport.
The conference held from eight to four, will provide practical information for both caregivers and social workers regarding Medicare & Medicaid law, clinical trials and more.

“We want them to leave with more information than when they came. About resources that are available, to be supported by their community and to connect with other caregivers. We want them to know that there are programs out there. That they don’t have to just at home with their loved one. There are things they can do together.”
– Andi Agnew, Program Director
