Gulf Coast Big Rig Show returns to the Coast

The seventh annual Gulf Coast Big Rig Truck Show held its first day of activities at the Biloxi Convention Center today.

This year over 110 trucks registered for the event which is more than 80 since the show’s first year in 2015.

The event offers a lot of fun to be had such as various light shows, live music, vendors, raffles, and countless trucks to be seen. The truckers even get to show off their looks during the light shows.

A competition will be held tomorrow as well to see which truck is the best in various categories. Marketing and Sales Director Jim McCleney said, “They do a great job, work very hard and to think that they come here to our show. We’ve been doing it since 2015 and this is our 7th show and even with the price of fuel the way it is, they still want to show their trucks. They love their trucks.”

Gates will open up tomorrow at 10 a.m. and will wrap up at 6 p.m.
