Gulf Blue Navigator Demo Day

Innovators and leaders of South Mississippi’s blue economy gathered Wednesday evening to hear ideas from a group of companies tasked with boosting economic growth in the region.

Demo Day at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center shining a spot light on six start up companies in the Southern Miss Gulf Blue Navigator program.

Representatives from companies such as Blue IQ, Sea Sats Inc., and V2 Forensics pitched new technologies at the event.

Technology aimed at improving our region’s ecosystem and quality of life.

Demo Day is also a way for leaders of these companies to network and take the next steps in their own growth.

The Gulf Blue Navigator program gives these start-ups companies access to Southern Miss’s Coastal Research facilities to further refine the products they hope to roll out.
