Guilty plea for DUI causing accident in Biloxi

A Florida man pled guilty for felony DUI causing serious injury.
Fifty-three year-old Ronald Carnley crossed over Highway 90 in Biloxi and struck a motorcycle in January of 2016. The driver of the motorcycle suffered life threatening injuries. The 20-year-old was in the hospital for over a month.
A test showed a blood alcohol level of .20, over double the legal limit.
During his plea, the defendant admitted he had been drinking and did not recall the crash and thought he blacked out.
Carnley was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
