Sexual Battery of a Juvenile

A Long Beach man will serve 20 years after pleading guilty to sexual battery of a juvenile. Forty-six year-old Edward Clements Jr. was prosecuted in a 2010 case out of Hancock County in which he was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.  Investigators say the assaults occurred during the months prior to the victim coming forward. Clements will also have to register as a sex offender.
