Guests get hands on at Arts Alive Festival in Bay St. Louis

An art show that started in a tiny room has now become one of the most popular art shows in Hancock County.

The Arts Alive Festival is an annual immersive event where music, art, and theatre come together for an other-worldly experience.

Over 40 vendors set up shop at the Depot Arts District and Community Hall in Bay St. Louis Saturday.

Artists of all styles were able to show off their creations and conduct demonstrations for those wanting to learn a little more about the craft.

It was the perfect opportunity for participants to create their own art. Arts Alive Treasurer Mamie Hillery said, “There were 42 vendors and there were 22 makers that show how they make their art. They demonstrate the clay building, mosaics, well we had a leather mask making and outside Al is turning wood.”

Event organizers want to thank all the sponsors and volunteers for making Arts Alive a dynamic event.
