Groundbreaking for new entrance at MGCCC Perkinston

The Perkinston campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will see construction for a new entrance boulevard within the next few weeks.

A groundbreaking ceremony took place celebrating the new thoroughfare in Stone County. The new entrance includes a four lane road that runs from Highway 49 to the campus north of Perkinston Elementary School. This new entrance will prevent accidents and limit traffic on campus.

It’s been a long time coming for this entrance and the Stone County Board of Supervisors are excited for the next step.
