Ground Zero Blues Club holding Musical March Madness Karaoke Tournament

Your journey to becoming Biloxi’s next rock star could start tonight!

Ground Zero Blues Club Biloxi is kicking off its inaugural Musical March Madness Karaoke Tournament tonight at 9 p.m.

Judges will choose four qualifiers to move on to the semi-final rounds held in March.

Since early January, Ground Zero has been hosting Rock Star Karaoke every Thursday night, gearing up for this event.

Each contestant will perform with a live band in front of a packed crowd for a chance to win a cash prize and future opportunities to perform at the venue.

The exposure can be beneficial to a singer’s career. Ground Zero Blues Club General Manager Daniel Givens said, “You never know who is going to show up here. So you can, maybe, we can even book you for like a solo performance on a Wednesday or Thursday night or a duo. So, really, it’s kind of the opportunities are endless.”

The first-place winner will take home a $1,500 cash prize. Finals will be held April 6th.
