Grant to Transform the Santa Maria

Today, Biloxi Mayor FoFo Gilich announced a permit to transform the Santa Maria site.
The city issued a building permit valued at $8 million to allow developers of the White House Hotel to transform the Santa Maria Retirement Center into an upscale 154 all-suites hotel that would also feature a restaurant specializing in fresh caught seafood and a lounge.
Seventy permanent jobs will be created.
