Grant program to open for storm damage from tornados in Moss Point
MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- If you’re a Moss Point resident who still has lingering home damage from the 2023 tornado or 2024 storms, there is more help available for you to get those repairs done.
The Mississippi Housing Recovery Program is offering up to $175,000 to eligible people for home repairs or reconstruction.
The program opens December 8 and is specifically open to people who had damage in March 2023, June 2023, and April 2024 and who live in the 39563 zip code.
There’s also a community meeting happening at Pelican Landing December 4th for residents to learn more about this grant program.
