Grandparents lunch and shopping at Bel-Aire Elementary

Bel-Aire Elementary is hosting their annual school book fair this week along with fun activities planned each day that will get the whole family involved.
Each day this week, family members were invited to the school to get involved and see what the children are learning at school. Today they invited grandparents over for lunch and to shop the book fair with their grandkids. Grandparent Linda Blaylock said, “My heart just lightens up at the sight of them so you can imagine. And then getting to spend some time with them, haven’t gotten to spend a whole lot of time with them with school going on and I’m waiting for summer.”
Sixth grade math teacher Ashleigh Syverson said, “At Bel-Aire we want to encourage as much family support as we can so we look for any possible way to get them and we had a very good turnout all week.”
To continue their family oriented week on Friday they finish up with ‘Dudes and Donuts’ which is exclusively for the men. Dads, uncles, grandpas, big brothers, and even coaches can shop the book fair and have a donut.
