Grand opening set for Long Beach Gateway Project
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- A major project in the City of Long Beach is nearly complete.
City leaders will mark the occasion with an upcoming ceremony.
The gateway project was first conceived in 2018, but work really began in earnest in March 2025 and features a small, decorative lighthouse plus landscaping and new signage as you enter the city along Highway 90.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is Wednesday, October 7th at 5 p.m.
