Grand opening of Chick-Fil-A Gulfport

For those folks who have been waiting with bated breath for the Chick-Fil-A on Highway 49 in Gulfport to reopen, the wait is over.

The newly renovated fast food joint reopened last week and today the city celebrated the finished product with a ribbon cutting. The popular restaurant was closed for nearly two months as it underwent renovations.

Now, with a new look, the Chick-Fil-A is ready to serve the thousands of hungry chicken lovers who pass through each day. Chick-Fil-A Marketing Director Amy Comstock said, “We have two new fry stations versus the one before. Our dining room is completely redone and they gave us a double cover drive through. That has been pretty impressive so far. Thursday we got 138 cars through in one hour.”
