Grand jury finds no criminal conduct in Hancock County inmate death
A grand jury finds no criminal conduct in the death of a Hancock County inmate that happened in July 2020.
According to the report, Lauren Lindsey Darnell was an inmate at the Hancock County Jail and died on July 25th, 2020. At the time, no suspicious circumstances were reported.
The report reads: “The grand jury finds no criminal conduct on behalf of corrections officers, jail medical staff, or any other director or subcontracted employee of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.”
