Governor Tate Reeves speaks to WXXV

Governor Tate Reeves says Mississippi is in the best financial shape it has ever been in. Lawmakers are sitting on a $4 billion revenue surplus going into the legislative session.

Governor Reeves spoke to WXXV today about how he’d like to see that money used. He says he wants you to keep more of your own money. Governor Reeves is also hoping to use surplus funds to fix the state’s infrastructure.
