Governor Tate Reeves launches initiative for America’s 250th birthday
Jackson, Miss. (WXXV)- Mississippi is launching a state-wide initiative to commemorate the United States of America’s 250th birthday.
The director of “Visit Mississippi” says the state’s America 250 Commission will highlight the state’s vital role in America’s history.
Governor Tate Reeves believes it will show the people, places and stories that make the Magnolia State special.
The Two Mississippi Museums will launch a new exhibit called ‘Mississippi Made’, highlighting the state’s creative talent.
