Governor Reeves touts July job growth
Mississippi reached a new record for employment.
Governor Tate Reeves’ office says the state recorded one 1,196,200 total jobs as of July.
Reeves pointed to the figure as evidence of continued economic growth in Mississippi.
His office also says more than $85 billion in private sector investment has been announced since he took office.
In a statement released Friday, the governor also highlighted recent growth in the categories job openings, GDP, and household income.
