Governor Reeves touts August jobs growth for the state
Governor Tate Reeves is touting August’s jobs numbers for Mississippi.
Mississippi’s non-farm employment reached a reported record high in August at 1,199,800 jobs. The numbers were released Friday.
The state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate also fell to 3.4 percent; its lowest level since September 2024.
