Governor Reeves signs pro-life, pro-mom bills

Governor Tate Reeves signed multiple pro-life and pro-mom bills today.

A signing ceremony was held in Jackson today. The seven bills he signed today included pro-life tax credits, adoption support, foster care systems reform, and more.

The legislation strengthens the state’s adoption system, increases support for pregnancy resource centers, establishes a foster parents bill of rights, creates a task force to improve adoption and foster care systems, improves the department of child protection services, and increases that agency’s budget. “Mississippi will always protect life. Our state will continue to be a beacon on the hill, a symbol of hope for the country, and a model for the nation.”
