Governor Reeves planning to take legal action against vaccine mandates
Governor Tate Reeves says he plans to take legal action against new federal vaccine mandates imposed by President Biden’s administration.
Reeves joins a growing list of Republican governors upset over the mandates.
Last week, the president signed an executive order requiring all federal employees, including government contractors, to get the COVID-19 vaccine or undergo weekly testing.
President Biden has also called on OSHA to make sure workers at companies with 100-plus employees are fully vaccinated.
Reeves blasted the requirements, calling them ‘an attack on working class Americans.’
The governor also called the mandate a ‘tyrannical-type move by the president that should instead be left up to a congressional vote.’
