Governor Bryant to attend ribbon cutting in Biloxi for storm water outfalls
The first beach storm water outfall on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is complete.
You might have noticed construction going on at Biloxi Beach all summer long.
Three “wave shaped” beach storm water outfalls were built. Officials say the three outfalls will help provide a greater appeal to the beach and help eliminate a large number of outfall pipes, which carry rainwater.
Governor Phil Bryant will be in Biloxi today to celebrate the opening of the first completed outfall project at a ribbon cutting set for 4:00 p.m. today.
The Governor, Biloxi city officials and others will be on hand for the ceremony by this afternoon at the beach storm waterfall located on Highway 90 by Holley Street.
