Governor Tate Reeves has proclaimed September as Substance Abuse Recovery Friendly Workplace Month.

This proclamation recognizes the important role employers can play in recovery.

Workplaces can strengthen workplace participation, improve retention, and reduce workplace risk.

Workplaces can also connect employees and families to resources.

Workplaces and community partners are encouraged to increase awareness of recovery-friendly practices and support people seeking to enter, return, or remain in the workforce.
