Goodwill of South Mississippi announces grand opening date for new Hardy Court store

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi announces the grand opening date for its new Hardy Court retail store.

The organization is relocating its current Hardy Court location to a larger, updated space within the Hardy Court Shopping Center.

The new location will open to the public on Thursday, August 20 at 10 a.m. It will offer an expanded shopping experience, improved donation process, and new resources to serve the community.

Guests are invited to celebrate with a coastal themed grand opening featuring refreshments, giveaways, family friendly activities, and more.

“Our Hardy Court store has been a favorite shopping destination for years, and we’re excited to welcome our customers into a larger, brighter space that offers an even better shopping experience,” said Paige Derouen, Chief Operating Officer of Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi. “The additional retail space allows us to showcase a wider variety of merchandise, create a more comfortable and enjoyable shopping environment, and make it even easier for our customers to discover great finds every time they visit. We can’t wait to welcome everyone through our doors and celebrate this exciting new chapter.”

The new space also offers a community meeting room that can transform into a career center to help expand Goodwill’s workforce development, community partnerships, and educational opportunities.
