Golden Nugget casino officially opens new sportsbook sponsored by DraftKings

There are many question marks surrounding the world of sports gambling.

There’s no questioning that it’s becoming more popular and prominent with every bet that is won or lost on a day to day basis.

On Thursday, the Golden Nugget casino in Biloxi joined in on the fast growing business.

The Golden Nugget casino hosted a ribbon cutting for their brand new sportsbook sponsored by DraftKings. According to Scott King, the assistant general manager at the Golden Nugget, this is something that has been in the works for years. The casino started welcoming guests to the only exclusive DraftKings sportsbook in the Magnolia State where sports fans can enjoy watching their bets play out live in one of the 38 available seats on the largest continuous screen in Mississippi.

After the event King spoke on his excitement to see this long process officially be open to the public by saying, “We have been working on this, in our eyes, since 2018 when we were rushed to open a sportsbook. We found its permanent location in December and now after, you know what we would call a long time, we finally got it open full scale with DraftKings as our official partner and we are really excited about that.”

King also mentioned that if you are interested in reserving seats in the sportsbook, you can do so on the casino’s app that is available in the android and apple app stores.
