Global Gaming Women Luncheon

Secrets, tips and trades all words of wisdom shared by a group of women leaders in the gaming industry at a luncheon today.
Tickets sold out for the Global Gaming Women Luncheon at the Island View Casino in Gulfport. During a panel discussion, women who made it to the top of the casino industry shared their stories of what they did to achieve success and how they got there. Island View Casino Vice President Cathy Beeding tells News 25 the number of women holding high level jobs in South Mississippi is four percent ahead of the national average, specifically in the gaming industry. “We’re going to advance those folks that know how to get the job done and that’s what we’re looking at here at the Global Gaming Women’s Luncheon, is how we can do those things, do them better and provide mentorship for the women who are coming after us and pave the way for them so they too can recognize a lot of success.”
The women’s panel discussed issues women face in the gaming industry and offered advice. The luncheon kicks off this year’s annual Southern Gaming Summit, which will be held at the Coast Coliseum in Biloxi until Thursday.
