GivHer Circle grant presentation by Gulf Coast Community Foundation

The Gulf Coast Community Foundation awarded grant money from the GivHer Circle grant program.

The recipient of this year’s grant is Elijah’s Closet, a nonprofit that provides resources for local foster children.

The GivHer grant offers nonprofits in all six south Mississippi counties the opportunity to apply for funding.

The event also shined a light on the work being done by other nonprofits here on the Mississippi Coast.

Elijah’s Closet leaders say the $20,000 grant will go towards purchasing new beds for the foster children they serve.
