Girls Flag Football players join at Saints Practice Facility for their inaugural jersey reveal and media day!

Girls on the Mississippi Gulf Coast continue to write pages in the history books as they get closer and closer to kicking off their inaugural season of flag football.

Not even two months after sanctioning girls high school flag football in Mississippi, the New Orleans Saints and MHSAA made things official on Saturday with a jersey reveal and media day at the Saints’ practice facility. East Central, George County, Picayune, St. Martin, Vancleave and seven other schools from the Magnolia state received their official flags and swag ahead of their season opener.

The teams will take part in a five-week season which will alternate between Picayune high school and Southwest Community College. Come out to Picayune high school this Thursday night, March 27th, to witness history as the inaugural season for girls flag football officially begins!
