Girl Scout Troop 3550 visits News 25 studio

Young women, future leaders of tomorrow, and members of Girl Scout Troop 3550 and their parents took time out of their busy schedules to drop by our WXXV News 25 studio earlier this evening to watch our 5:30 p.m. newscast.

The young ladies, and a few of their young male companions, were on their best behavior during the show. Birthday girl Athena Hutchings shared her dreams of one day being a meteorologist, which made our own Payton Malone sweat a little bit, but he’s breathing a little easier now knowing that the legal working age is 16, so she still has a few years to go.

After the show, the troop spoke with our news talent and crew members who make all the magic happen.
