German military visits Keesler Air Force Base on February 12th
The German Military Aviation Authority visited the 334th Training Squadron on Keesler Air Force Base on February 12.
The German Authority watched the foundational training American service members receive as air traffic controllers.
The visit was part of a larger tour for the GMAA to learn about training American air traffic controllers undergo from Basic Military Training.
Patricia Hyland, in charge of airspace and airfield operations, says building partnerships is an essential part of military success in Europe.
Hyland says sharing information allows the Air Force to identify efficiencies and is a large part of building trust and confidence in the Air Force’s programs.
