George County’s M.J. Daniels to receive All-American jersey

The season might be over for the George County Rebels, but there’s still some high school football to look forward to on Friday.

Four-star recruit M.J. Daniels is set to receive his 2021 All-American jersey that morning, fresh off his final high school football game.

This year’s All-American Bowl won’t be played due to COVID-19 and will be replaced with a declaration day on January 2nd in which several athletes invited to play in the game will announce their college decisions in real time.

Daniels is committed to Mississippi State, having decommitted from Ole Miss in June.

He’ll be the second Rebel in as many years to receive a jersey following in the footsteps of McKinnley Jackson, now at Texas A&M.
