George County sheriff asks public’s help to locate missing man

George County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help to locate a man reported missing from the Basin Community of Lucedale.

Sheriff Mitchell Mixon said Jason Christopher Craft was last seen in the 100 block of Pleasant Hill Church Road on Saturday. at about 6 p.m.

Craft is described as 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. He was last known to be wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.

Craft’s family has told the Sheriff’s Office that he suffers from a mental illness that may impair his judgment.
