George County man arrested for possession of a controlled substance

Agents with the Southeast Mississippi Narcotics Task Force arrested 28-year-old Christopher Nix of Lucedale for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm.

Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics executed a search warrant at a home in George County where Nix was found with one pound of high-grade marijuana along with a firearm.

Nix was transported to the George County Jail on a ten thousand dollar bond.
